As we scale, we’re looking for a sharp, proactive Accounting & Operations Analyst to join our team and take ownership of key financial and operational functions.

About the Role

The Accounting & Operations Analyst will report directly to our co-founder and play a critical role in managing our monthly accounting processes, overseeing financial models, and supporting the broader operational team. This is a dynamic, cross-functional role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, startup environment.

Responsibilities

Accounting & Finance

• Lead monthly accounting close, including preparing and reviewing journal entries, managing account reconciliations, and ensuring accurate COGS and inventory accounting
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure compliance with GAAP 
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Work closely with our CFO to maintain and refine financial models, manage cash flow forecasting, and contribute to strategic financial planning
• Support annual budgeting process and ongoing budget vs. actual reporting
• Coordinate with external accountants or bookkeepers as needed

Operations & Systems

• Assist with inventory and demand planning
• Support supply chain operations by coordinating with 3PLs, manufacturers, and logistics partners

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of accounting experience, ideally with exposure to DTC, eCommerce, or inventory-based businesses
• Exceptional understanding of accrual-based accounting, COGS/inventory reconciliation, and financial reporting
• Proficiency with accounting and payment softwares (e.g. QuickBooks, Bill.Com) and Excel/Google Sheets
• Knowledge of Shopify is a plus
• Experience with operational systems (e.g. CRM, Gorgias, Inventory management tools) a plus
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
• Comfortable in a fast-moving startup environment with evolving priorities
• Strong communicator and collaborator across teams

Salary & Benefits Overview

• Compensation: $65,000-$85,000
