Bottega Napa Valley is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Bar Manager to oversee the daily operations of our bar. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with a passion for hospitality, a keen eye for detail, and a deep understanding of beverage operations. This role requires strong organizational skills, team leadership, and a commitment to delivering an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day bar operations, including staffing, inventory, and service standards.
• Recruit, train, and supervise bartenders and bar staff. 
• Develop and maintain beverage menus, including specialty cocktails and seasonal offerings. 
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol regulations.
• Monitor and manage bar inventory, place orders, and track costs to minimize waste and control expenses.
• Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and appealing bar environment. 
• Schedule shifts and manage labor costs according to business needs.
• Collaborate with BOH and FOH teams to ensure seamless service.
• Analyze sales and operational data to drive profitability and improve performance. 

• Proven experience as a bar manager or similar role in a hospitality environment.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• In-dept knowledge of bar operations, beverages, and mixology.
• Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with POS systems.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Certification in alcohol service and food safety.
