Job Overview – Construction Superintendent (Multifamily):

Compensation: $75,000 – $95,000/year + bonus

Location: Camden County, NJ

Lead on-site construction as a Construction Superintendent (Multifamily) with our client in Camden County, NJ, managing ground-up wood-frame builds for affordable housing and multifamily projects. Coordinate subcontractors, enforce safety and quality standards, and drive project schedules to meet deadlines and milestones. Ideal for hands-on professionals with deep experience in site work, residential construction, and building compliance.

Responsibilities as the Construction Superintendent:

• Site & Field Operations: Manage daily on-site activities for wood-frame multifamily builds, including subcontractor coordination, site work, and inspections.
• Project Scheduling & Deadlines: Create and adjust project schedules to meet construction milestones and final completion targets.
• Subcontractor & Quality Oversight: Direct subcontractors, enforce quality standards, and issue punch lists for any deficiencies.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure jobsite safety and regulatory compliance, coordinating municipal inspections and upholding OSHA standards.
• Materials & Reporting: Verify material deliveries, support the Project Manager with daily reports, and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders.

Qualifications for the Construction Superintendent:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: 3+ years of superintendent or site management experience in ground-up multifamily or affordable housing wood-frame construction projects.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel with experience in project scheduling tools preferred.
• Skills & Attributes: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented, safety-first mindset in fast-paced construction environments.
