We are currently seeking a passionate individual with daycare or preschool experience to join our team as a Preschool Center Director.

As a Preschool Center Director at The Learning Experience, You Will:

  • Lead by example, displaying passion for making a positive impact on the lives of children and employees. Create an environment of trust, rapport, and inclusivity, easily connecting with diverse groups of people.
  • Ensure that the physical center environment adheres to health and safety standard operating procedures, maintaining full compliance with local and state licensing regulations.
  • Build and maintain a highly qualified staff by actively sourcing/hiring, training, coaching, and engaging with current and prospective employees.
  • Guide our teachers in implementing our proprietary curriculum, leveraging your passion for learning. Staff training activities.
  • Drive consistent business results, measured through family retention and conversion, enrollment growth, and efficient business operations. Manage accounts receivable and payable, generate monthly P&L reports, and oversee employee payroll.
  • Engage prospective families through both in-person and virtual center tours, effectively showcasing the benefits of our program. Organize and execute community marketing events to raise awareness and drive enrollment.
  • Manage all licensing requirements diligently, ensuring compliance in classrooms and school files.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with staff and families, fostering trust and engagement.
  • Conduct center tours and engage with new families warmly - during in person visits as well as through emails.
  • Conduct regular, timely reviews and classroom observations.
  • Engage in marketing efforts as needed, community outreach, community events, flyers, etc.

Apply Now If You:

  • Have more than 5 years of center leadership/management experience (highly preferred) or at least 3 years of center leadership/management experience (required).
  • Possess the state-specific Administrative or Director credential, as well as any other state-specific guidelines or CDA training and 40-hour director training for the role (required).
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field (preferred).
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of state licensing rules and regulations.
  • Are willing to run through a background check as a licensing requirement, usually starts after getting the offer.
