Hospice Registered Nurse

Our client is seeking a compassionate Hospice Registered Nurse to join their care team in Leawood, KS, and surrounding areas. This position offers the opportunity to provide exceptional end-of-life care to patients in their homes while working within a supportive and collaborative environment focused on compassion and quality care.
Responsibilities include managing and implementing individualized care plans, conducting patient assessments, administering medications, maintaining accurate clinical documentation, and ensuring timely completion of charting. The nurse will work closely with an interdisciplinary hospice team to deliver coordinated and patient-centered care.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Includes rotating on-call nights and weekends, plus two holidays per year.
Travel: Local travel required.
Required qualifications:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kansas or valid RN Compact License
Associate degree or higher in Nursing
Minimum of two years of RN experience (Hospice experience preferred)
Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems such as TruChart
Current AHA BLS and ACLS certification
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
