Position: Human Resources Generalist

LHH Recruitment Solutions is collaborating with an esteemed organization in Kansas City, KS, to find a dedicated Human Resources Generalist. We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable HR Generalist with a strong focus on benefits administration and payroll processing . This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll execution, managing employee benefits programs, and supporting broader HR functions including compliance, onboarding, and employee relations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Maintain payroll records and reports, and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Administer employee benefits programs.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for benefits-related inquiries and issues.
• Maintain HRIS and employee records with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
• Support compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
• Participate in audits, reporting, and HR projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3+ years of HR experience with a focus on payroll and benefits.
• Proficiency with payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paycom, Paylocity) and HRIS platforms.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and payroll regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
