Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay UltraSource is currently seeking applicants for an HR Generalist in Hollis, NH. In this position the HR Generalist ensures implementation and administration of the following areas: recruiting, benefits, employee relations, health/safety, and policy/procedure communication. The HR Generalist will work with managers and supervisors to effectively lead and manage their employees.

Job Location:

Hollis, NH is a small suburb in Southern New Hampshire, an hour north of Boston, MA and conveniently located near other major cities and access points in the New England area. Vishay UltraSource has 27,000 sq. ft of manufacturing space and approximately 80 employees working between two shifts.

What you will be doing:

  • Oversee full recruitment process for both exempt and non-exempt open positions by screening candidates, coordinating interviews with hiring managers, and extending offers
  • Act as the primary HR contact for applicants during the onboarding and new hire orientation process
  • Maintain headcount reporting and ensure accurate and timely data entry in Workday HR Platform
  • Process Leave of Absence requests according to Federal and State law, as well as company policy and provide counsel to employees and supervisors regarding request and approval process
  • Collaborate with divisional HR management on employee relations concerns
  • Implement benefits and wellness initiatives, and act as local support for employee questions related to benefits
  • Administer company policies and procedures that comply with all state and federal laws including ADA, AAP, FMLA, EEO, and OSHA requirements
  • Participate as a member of the safety committee and partner with local EHS manager regarding workplace incident/accidents, and filing of workers compensation claims
  • Plan and organize local employee events and activities

What you will bring along:

  • 2+ years of related Human Resources experience
  • BS or AA Degree in related discipline required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience with Workday HR platform is beneficial but not required
  • Must have a positive attitude and be a team player
  • Solid analytical and communication skills
