San Francisco- Legal Counsel Roles-Venture Capital and Private Equity Firms-In house 275-350k+ potential carry
Hudson Gate Partners is working on numerous Inhouse Legal Roles in San Fran-If you have 2-5 years total experience at a to law firm, tech firm or fund, we have the perfect roles for you.
· Partner with the General Counsel to support M&A transactions, including helping with post-close execution
Manage day-to-day legal matters at the management company, including NDAs, vendor agreements, consulting agreements, and employment contracts
· Audit and optimize our Ironclad CLM implementation; improve workflows, data hygiene, and reporting to power our Legal Center of Excellence
· Build and maintain a dashboard of internal legal templates and precedents
· Onboard Firm's team members to best practices around NDAs, vendor contracting, attorney-client privilege, and internal legal workflows
· Assist the Associate General Counsel in developing internal trainings on employment practices, intellectual property, data privacy, and other core legal topics
· Create scalable legal resources including FAQs, playbooks, and training modules for our client's and our portfolio companies
· Support ongoing compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., CCPA, GDPR) across the fund and its portfolio
· Help track and analyze legal and regulatory developments impacting our companies
Requirements
· JD from an accredited law school; active bar membership in good standing
· 3-5 years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal department; exposure to private equity and/or SaaS exposure preferred
· Strong drafting, negotiation, and issue-spotting skills, with a solid foundation in commercial contracts
Experience with Ironclad or other CLM tools
· Familiarity with privacy frameworks (CCPA etc.)
· Experience with equity compensation, employee benefits, and related regulato
