Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Operations Clerk to join our dispatch and transportation team. The ideal candidate must be highly organized, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and provide excellent communication and customer service. This position is critical to ensuring timely deliveries and efficient communication with drivers, customers, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take incoming phone calls from drivers and assist with delivery-related issues.
  • Research and provide ETAs to customers as needed.
  • Assist in resolving delivery delays or concerns promptly.
  • Make delivery appointments and confirm scheduling with customers.
  • Communicate effectively with customers via phone and email.
  • Respond to emails in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the system.
  • Work closely with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customer service teams.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in transportation, dispatch, or logistics preferred.
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
  • Excellent phone and communication skills.
  • Proficient in using computers and email (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, etc.).
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Start time: 7:00 AM (Some flexibility/overtime may be required)
