Job Description

Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Inside Sales Representative with strong logistics knowledge and a passion for process improvement. This role is responsible for managing and growing customer accounts, handling inbound and outbound sales activities, and creating and refining internal processes that support efficient and scalable sales and operations.
Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring high satisfaction and repeat business.
• 
  Collaborate with operations, dispatch, and account management teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery.
• 
  Analyze sales activities and client feedback to identify areas for improvement and develop scalable sales processes.
• 
  Create, document, and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for inside sales workflows.
• 
  Use CRM systems to track sales activity, pipeline progress, and customer interactions.
• 
  Identify and act on upselling and cross-selling opportunities within the customer base.
• 
  Provide insights to management on trends, process bottlenecks, and tools needed to improve efficiency.
  

Qualifications:

• 
  2+ years of inside sales experience, preferably in logistics, transportation, or supply chain.
• 
  Strong understanding of logistics operations and terminology.
• 
  Proven experience in developing or refining sales or operational processes.
• 
  Proficient with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office Suite.
• 
  Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• 
  Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• 
  Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
  

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting.
