PRN MRI Technologist – MedQuest Imaging | Columbia, SC

Location: Columbia, SC

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, ensuring safety and comfort.

  • Review patient medical history and physician requests to determine scanning protocols.

  • Screen patients for contraindications such as metal implants or devices.

  • Administer contrast agents according to guidelines and monitor patient reactions.

  • Operate MRI equipment to acquire high-quality diagnostic images.

  • Monitor and assess patient condition throughout the imaging process.

  • Ensure accurate documentation and timely archiving of imaging data.

  • Maintain MRI equipment and perform routine quality checks.

Qualifications:

Education & Certification:

  • Accredited radiologic technology graduate

  • ARRT MRI certified with up-to-date CEUs

  • State licensure as applicable

  • CPR certified

Experience:

  • Open to entry-level candidates; 2+ years preferred

Key Skills:

  • IV insertion proficiency

  • In-depth knowledge of MRI procedures and anatomy

  • Experienced with MRI equipment operation

  • Strong patient care and communication skills
