Paralegal (Consultant)

Location: New York, NY (Onsite 4 days/week)

Duration: 2-month contract with potential extensions

We’re supporting a major North American professional sports league headquartered in Midtown Manhattan. The organization oversees league-wide operations, manages commercial partnerships, and supports 25+ teams across the U.S. and Canada. Their legal department plays a central role in protecting the league’s interests, managing high-visibility agreements, and ensuring compliance across a broad range of business activities.

This is a great opportunity to gain in-house experience within a fast-moving, high-profile sports environment.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain and update contract templates for content licensing, broadcast talent, and other production-related agreements
• Coordinate confidentiality agreement workflow across multiple internal departments
• Assist attorneys with templated commercial agreements, including influencer, artist, and player appearance agreements
• Draft and review terms and conditions for promotions, sweepstakes, and fan-facing campaigns
• Support day-to-day legal operations, including engagement letters, invoice coordination, and external counsel communication
• Take on special projects as needed to support the broader legal team

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate
• 2+ years of paralegal experience (sports or corporate environment preferred)
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and solid organizational habits
• Comfort working in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal research tools
• Ability to work onsite in NYC four days each week
