Job Description

The Opportunity:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing multidisciplinary consulting firm operating across the U.S. and Canada. As a Senior Project Manager on the Environmental Remediation team, you’ll work closely with experienced professionals to support clients in managing environmental risks.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Leading project teams to ensure successful execution of environmental remediation projects
  • Managing client relationships and providing regular updates on project progress, goals, and deliverables
  • Preparing high-quality technical reports, ensuring compliance with internal quality standards and industry best practices
  • Providing technical guidance and mentorship to team members
  • Supporting the planning and execution of training related to affordable housing initiatives
  • Developing and maintaining internal resources such as templates, guidance documents, and references
  • Staying current with applicable federal, state, and local environmental regulations and funding sources
  • Representing the firm in meetings with regulatory agencies and external stakeholders
  • Supporting marketing and business development by identifying presentation opportunities and promoting the firm’s capabilities
  • Participating in peer reviews and quality assurance processes to ensure professional excellence
  • Performing other related duties as assigned

What You’ll Need to Be Successful:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5–10 years of experience in environmental consulting, including work on affordable housing projects
  • Strong knowledge of Michigan environmental regulations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven project management and client-facing experience
  • Ability to work in various field and office environments
  • Valid driver’s license (or ability to obtain one in-state)
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and conduct fieldwork
  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset and passion for mentorship and continuous improvement
