Job Description

Quality Assurance Assistant

Location: Pacheco, CA - fully onsite

Type: Temporary (8–12 weeks, potential extension)

Pay: $19/hour to $22/hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Assistant to support the team during a medical leave coverage. This is a temporary position with potential extension, offering a blend of clerical/data entry responsibilities and partial work in both the lab and office/cubicle setting. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail and computer skills who can adapt quickly to varying tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Review documentation to ensure compliance with requirements.
  • Archive documents, ensuring proper naming and organization.
  • Perform document reviews involving simple math and calculations.
  • Provide general clerical and quality assurance support as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Line Clearance Inspector or in a food manufacturing assembly line environment is a strong plus.
  • Exposure to GMP manufacturing or lab environments preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat required.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to perform simple arithmetic accurately.
  • Education not required; broader experience and adaptability valued.
