Job Description

We’re hiring on behalf of a high-growth Series B start-up that’s redefining automotive sensing. As they ramp up development and scale toward production, they’re seeking a hands-on RF Systems Integration & Test Engineer to join the core RF systems team.

You'll play a key role in testing and characterizing mmWave ICs and RF subsystems - both in isolation and as part of integrated sensing platforms. Working closely with IC designers, signal processing engineers, packaging, and software teams, you'll own hands-on debug and validation work that’s critical to the company’s success.

Responsibilities

• Lead microprobe wafer testing using VNAs, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and other high-frequency equipment to characterize new chipsets.
• Manage and maintain the company’s probe lab, ensuring all tools and environments are optimized for testing mmWave and mixed-signal ASICs.
• Develop and execute new calibration and test methods, including time-of-flight and VNA frequency extender setups.
• Support over-the-air (OTA) testing and integration into complete systems - from test chips to in-situ performance.
• Drive process automation and help scale up testing across process and temperature corners.
• Assist with phased array testing, analog beamforming hardware, and comparison of new PCB designs against simulation.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to debug system-level issues and improve end-to-end performance.

Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with RF test equipment (VNAs, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc.).
• Experience testing millimeter-wave ICs or RF systems, ideally at wafer-level and OTA.
• Ability to work across teams and manage your own projects and lab environment with high attention to detail.
• Solid understanding of RF system components such as mixers, amplifiers, phase shifters, and antennas.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with phased array radar and/or analog beamforming
• Exposure to start-up or high-growth environments
• OTA testing of antenna arrays and beamforming networks
• Familiarity with RF system integration and validation from early testing to productisation
• Passion for learning and diving into new RF test methods and system design challenges
