SALARY RANGE: $59,550 to $84,364
EMPLOYMENT CLASSIFICATION: Regular, Full-Time, Exempt/Salary Status
The School Based Therapist is responsible for providing 31n Grant services in the school, to children receiving mental health services. Must be able to demonstrate sensitivity, knowledge and use of appropriate approaches, skills and techniques which reflect an understanding and awareness of trauma and social, cultural and economic diversity of the target population served. Must actively support the goal of person-centered planning and integrated care.
EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Social Work or Professional Counseling required, Michigan licensure appropriate to professional degree, i.e., LLPC, LPC, LLMSW, LMSW, is required.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: The candidate must maintain documentation to agency and professional standards. A valid Michigan Driver’s License is required to operate an agency vehicle or to transport consumers. Candidates must meet successful clearance of criminal and driving background checks.
