Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a **Associate Test Conductor /Test Conductor** - Global Hawk Lab Test Director to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Test and Evaluation Organization. This role is located in San Diego, CA, **supporting second shift (~2:30-11PM).** In this role, you will oversee the operational aspects of engineering tests and serves as and is responsible for managing the design, development, and implementation of new lab capabilities, in addition to the planning, operations and maintenance of the Global Hawk Lab. The position requires technical knowledge of various systems, design, development, implementation, and testing with a strong foundation in laboratory integration and test. The selected candidate must act with speed, guide others in producing quality work, be self-motivated, and have the ability to communicate complex technical issues and solutions. A successful track record of program performance, and test experience is required. Key Responsibilities: - Driving process rigor, ensure compliance to meet company, program, and security requirements - Driving technical and process rigor for lab configuration - Tracking leading indicator technical metrics to detect and prevent issues - Ensure lab assets meet test requirements for formal testing - Continually coordinate lab status and issues and solutions with the IPT and across IPTs - Continually seek to improve lab integration & test engineering rigor and efficiency - Ensure CRs are properly reviewed for Lab cost & schedule impacts - Support proposal activities We offer a 9/80 work schedule with every other Friday off, phenomenal learning opportunities, exposure to a wide variety of projects and customers, and a very friendly team environment. We are looking for self-motivated, proactive, and goal-oriented people to help us grow our services and become even better at what we do. **Basic Qualifications:** - Associate Test Conductor must have 4 years of qualifiable, related professional/military experience OR an Associate of Science degree AND 2 years of qualifiable, related professional/military experience OR Bachelor's degree / military experience OR a Master's degree AND 0 years of related professional / military experience. - Test Conductor must have 6 years of qualifiable, related professional/military experience OR an Associate of Science degree AND 4 years of qualifiable, related professional/military experience OR Bachelor's degree AND 2 years of related professional / military experience OR a Master's degree AND 0 years of related professional / military experience. - Must have an active DoD Secret or higher clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation) - Must be flexible, and able to support **Second Shift** , and off hours as dictated by program test activities - Excellent communication skills required, must work well in a team environment, and must work independently to solve a variety of complex problems **Preferred Qualifications:** - Active Top Secret clearance - Experience in lab integration and test activities - Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management - Proposal development - UAS Lab specific System Test experience - MES experience, and management / disposition of customer materials for test - Previous experience working directly with customers and suppliers - Proven leadership skills Primary Level Salary Range: $67,400.00 - $101,000.00 Secondary Level Salary Range: $81,300.00 - $121,900.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
