Job Description

Overview:

The Marketing Specialist is responsible for assisting and supporting the day-to-day marketing needs of the Marketing Department. They work with Regional Directors, Managers, and General Managers in each market to execute marketing programs and establish relationships in the community that can deliver company goals. The Marketing Specialist assists in the solicitation and evaluation of all proposals and makes recommendations on advertising and marketing promotions to the Brand Marketing Manager

Responsibilities:
  • Work with Regional Directors/Managers & GMs in each market to execute marketing programs and establish relationships in the community that can deliver company goals.
  • Assist in the solicitation and evaluation of all proposals and make recommendations on advertising/marketing promotions to Brand Marketing Manager.
  • Manage the creation and execution of all special events and sponsorships for assigned concept.
  • Open up work orders and work directly with the creative services team to develop and concept a design for various marketing collaterals.
  • Manage the collateral ordering process, ensuring materials are being ordered and delivered to the stores in a reasonable time frame on budget.
  • Assist in the creation and execution of all promotions, working with other marketing team members to formulate plans to utilize various media including print, broadcast, outdoor, digital, social and internal collateral pieces
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business/Marketing or a related discipline from an accredited college or university
  • Previous marketing experience in restaurant or hospitality industry is preferred
  • Excellent phone communication skills, good organizational and good writing skills
  • Detail oriented, self-motivated and conscientious on follow through
  • Professional personal presentation with cordial one-on-one presence
  • Ability to perform as a team member and possess strong computer skills
